Knoxville, TN area based family of 3 are in need of a FT, live-out Domestic Couple to start ASAP. We are looking for a Property Caretaker/Houseman and an Executive Housekeeper/Laundress who have worked as a Domestic Couple in a luxury estate with a minimum of 5-years of professional experience ideally as a couple.
The domestic couple’s schedule will be M-F 8am-3pm with the flexibility to stay later or help over the weekends as needed. The couple will be working under the Principal’s on-site Estate Manager who will be responsible for training, hiring, scheduling and the communications from the Principal.
Requirements:
- Eligible to work in the US.
- Expertise in cleaning and maintaining a large estate, with high-end furnishings and fixtures.
- Knowledge of textiles, and area rugs.
- Knowledge of Hard Surface: to include, but not limited to stone, quartz, marble, ceramic and stainless steel a must.
- Expertise in hardwood floors. Exterior tile/stone and polished cement
- Mirror and glass care
- Feather dusting and polishing of fine furniture.
- Experience in the cleanliness of a home gym and spa area
- Expertise in family laundry and handling high-end garments: washing, ironing, steaming, and dry cleaning.
- Washing Fine, bed and bath, Table linens (some ironing)
- Assist in the organization and maintenance of closets (wardrobe/other).
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of garages, entertainment areas, and special areas.
- Assist with preparation for special occasions, incoming and outgoing guests.
- Has worked in a team before (will work beside families Estate Manager)
- Excellent, verifiable references
