Deb’s Domestic Agency started in Santa Fe, New Mexico in 2008 as the state’s first and only nanny and household staffing service. In 2016 we moved our headquarters from Albuquerque, NM to Austin, TX. We serve not only New Mexico and Texas but we have a national and local team of placement consultants who work closely with our clients all over the United States. We interview candidates at different locations throughout the USA in person and virtually. We do not advertise any of our applicant’s personal or professional information since we have one of the largest databases in the nation and we value the importance of privacy and confidentiality with both our clients and applicants.
While attending college in Dallas, Texas as a full-time student, Deborah became a live-in nanny through a local nanny agency, which is how she started her career in the domestic service industry. After college, Deborah started working for one of Dallas’ top nanny agencies until a recruiting trip to Los Angeles, California inspired a change of scenery and an opportunity to work in a prestigious household-staffing firm there. Deborah’s 12 years of training and experience in Dallas and Los Angeles gave her the knowledge and skills to start her own agency in the beginning of 2008. As a former Family Assistant, Deborah has an invaluable perspective on both sides of a Domestic Agency. Deborah is happily married to Christopher, a venture capitalist, and the proud parent of two large rescue dogs and a rescue cat. Chris and Deborah spend their time between Austin and Albuquerque and love to travel both domestically and internationally; they are passionate about the outdoors, health and fitness, giving back into the community, and trying to never take life for granted.
