Fee Structure for Placements

Initiating a search for a long-term private household professional begins with a one-time $175 Registration Fee (non-refundable). This fee provides one year of access to Deb’s Domestic Agency’s placement services and ongoing post-placement support, including continued assistance if a household relocates or its staffing needs change.

Complimentary Working Trial Period

For full-time domestic employees who can give a minimum of a one-year commitment, our placement fee is 25% of the employee’s expected annual gross salary hiring-package, or a minimum fee of $15,000. For placement of domestic employees working less than 35 hours per week, our fee is 30% of the employee’s annual gross salary hiring-package, or a minimum fee of $13,000.

For full-time childcare employees who can give a minimum of a one-year commitment, our placement fee is 20% of the employee’s expected annual gross salary hiring-package, or a minimum fee of $10,000. For placement of childcare employees working less than 35 hours per week, our fee is 25% of the employee’s annual gross salary hiring-package, or a minimum fee of $8750.

Before confirming a placement, clients may arrange a five-day complimentary working trial with a selected candidate. This allows the household to evaluate day-to-day fit, communication, service standards, and working rhythm before the final agency fee is due. During the trial period, the client pays the candidate directly. If both parties choose to proceed, the placement fee is due before the candidate’s official start date.
