Fee Structure for Placements

Initiating a search for a long-term private household professional begins with a one-time $175 Registration Fee (non-refundable). This fee provides one year of access to Deb’s Domestic Agency’s placement services and ongoing post-placement support, including continued assistance if a household relocates or its staffing needs change.

Complimentary Working Trial Period

Full-Time Household, Estate, and Caregiver Placements (35+ hours/week). The placement fee is twenty-five percent (25%) of the Employee’s Guaranteed Annual Cash Compensation. There is no minimum placement fee.

Part-Time Household, Estate, and Caregiver Placements (fewer than 35 hours/week). The placement fee is thirty percent (30%) of the Employee’s Guaranteed Annual Cash Compensation, subject to a minimum placement fee of $18,000.

Full-Time Childcare Placements (35+ hours/week). The placement fee is twenty percent (20%) of the Employee’s Guaranteed Annual Cash Compensation. There is no minimum placement fee.

Part-Time Childcare Placements (fewer than 35 hours/week). The placement fee is twenty-five percent (25%) of the Employee’s Guaranteed Annual Cash Compensation, subject to a minimum placement fee of $10,000.

DDA accepts searches at compensation levels appropriate to the position, responsibilities, schedule, location, and current private-service market. Role-specific compensation guidance is available in our Household Staff Salary Guide.

Before confirming a placement, clients may arrange a five-day complimentary working trial with a selected candidate. This allows the household to evaluate day-to-day fit, communication, service standards, and working rhythm before the final agency fee is due. During the trial period, the client pays the candidate directly. If both parties choose to proceed, the placement fee is due before the candidate’s official start date.
