Description
Professional working couple is in need of a wonderful nanny for their one month old baby girl and four year old boy. The nanny’s requested start date was 4/22/19, so DDA sought to fill the position as soon as possible.
We are looking for a flexible nanny who is able to work outside of her schedule on occasion or for emergencies and ideally travel with the family on their vacation with advanced notice. The nanny should be flexible to work a 30-hour workweek in the beginning of her employment with the possibility of going to full time (40 hours) in the near future. Currently, the nanny’s schedule is as follows:
- Mondays 9am-5pm
- Tuesdays 9am-4pm
- Wednesdays 8am-3pm
- Thursdays 9am-4pm
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- All childcare related duties
- Traveling with family on occasion
- Grocery shopping
- Driving children
- Light housekeeping (keeping house tidy)
- Keeping the children’s rooms, toys and areas clean and organized
- Children’s laundry
Most importantly the nanny must love children and have experience with newborns. The family needs someone reliable who will always be on time to work and who is able to keep a detailed baby journal on progress on the baby’s growing and learning milestones, sleeping, bowl movements etc. She should not need to be told what to do but be able to anticipate her responsibilities independently once she is familiar with her duties and the family’s needs.
The parents are looking for someone who will be comfortable working both independently and around them when they work from home or when traveling on their vacation. Nanny candidates must have a safe and reliable vehicle with a clean driving record since she will be driving the children at times.
