Description
A family of five with no pets sought a wonderful Family Assistant for an immediate start. The twin girls are 6 years old and the little boy is 2. We are looking for a very flexible FA who is able to travel internationally with the family as needed and work late hours. Every week the FA's schedule will be a little different. An example of her schedule could be starting as late as 5pm-1am M-F. The ideal FA will be flexible to work a 40-hour workweek and weekends as needed with advanced notice.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- Childcare for all 3 children
- Personal Assistant duties for parents
- Traveling with family
- Food prep for family
- Cooking for children
- Laundry for family
- Family's ironing
- Running errands
- Grocery shopping
- Driving children
- Party planning
- Organizing
A French speaking FA would be a plus but not a requirement. Ideal candidates would be those who have been both a professional nanny and personal assistant or similar experience. This is much more than a nanny job as there are many more responsibilities such as event planning and administrative skills. The FA must have a good driving record and the family will be providing a vehicle for her for on-duty use. We are looking for mature, reliable candidates with previous long-term tenure in a similar position with excellent references. All applicants must have a valid Passport for international travel. Although this is a national search, the position is live-out.
The most important thing is that the FA must love children and have both work and personal integrity with a strong work ethic. She should not need to be told what to do but be able to anticipate her responsibilities independently once she is familiar with her duties and the family’s needs. The family is looking for someone with Christian values who will be like a member of their family for many years.
