Position Details
- Schedule: To be determined based on the household’s needs and the selected candidate’s availability.
- Start date: As soon as possible
- Living arrangement: Open to live-in or live-out
- Housing: For a live-in employee, exceptionally private on-site accommodations are available within the residence. The caregiver would have use of most of the home’s upper level, including a private bedroom and bathroom, as well as access to workout equipment. The area is seldom used by the household, allowing the employee to enjoy a high degree of privacy and separation during off-duty hours. Additional details and photographs may be shared with qualified, screened candidates.

Key Responsibilities
Personal Assistance, Caregiving, and Daily Support
- Provide warm, patient, and respectful personal assistance.
- Assist with bathing and bathroom routines as needed.

- No lifting or transfers are required.
- Provide medication reminders according to the household’s established instructions.

Companionship and Engagement
- Offer attentive companionship and emotional support.
- Keep the care recipient mentally and physically engaged through appropriate activities.
- Adapt calmly and patiently as needs and comfort levels change.
- Build trust while maintaining appropriate professional boundaries.
- Provide dependable respite support for the Principal.
Household Support and Organization
- Help maintain a clean, organized, and well-run household.
- Perform appropriate housekeeping and laundry responsibilities.
- Support household organization and day-to-day order.
- Assist with meal preparation and nutrition-related household needs.
- Balance caregiving priorities with the personal-assistance and household-support responsibilities of the position.
Driving and Appointments
- Drive the care recipient to appointments as needed.
- Use the household-provided vehicle responsibly.
- Accommodate reasonable schedule adjustments related to transportation needs.
Communication and Confidentiality
- Report directly to the Principal overseeing the care arrangement.
- Maintain clear and thoughtful communication regarding daily needs and household priorities.

Qualifications
- Relevant professional caregiving experience.
- Relevant personal-assistance, residential-support, private-home-support, hospitality, household-operations, or comparable service-oriented experience.
- Experience supporting individuals with dementia or similar cognitive-care needs.
- Comfortable providing personal assistance, including help with bathing and bathroom routines.
- Strong judgment, patience, discretion, initiative, and communication skills.
- Ability to balance caregiving responsibilities with appropriate household organization, housekeeping, laundry, and meal assistance.
- Comfortable driving a household-provided vehicle as needed.
