A warm, professional Executive Housekeeper is needed for a kind and busy family of four based in Lido Beach, New York, a peaceful beachfront community on Long Island. The Executive Housekeeper (EH) will take pride in overseeing the daily care, organization, and upkeep of the family’s well-maintained 2,500 sq. ft. home.
This is a full-time, live-out position ideal for someone seeking a long-term role with a respectful household that values reliability, a can-do attitude, and genuine warmth. The family is looking for someone who is either local or eager to build roots in the area and who finds joy in creating a positive, well-run home.
The position also involves daily care for two small, friendly dogs and occasional support with the children as needed. The ideal candidate will be proactive, detail-oriented, and genuinely enjoy working in a family environment.
Key Responsibilities:
• Maintain high standards of cleanliness and organization throughout the home
• Use non-toxic and eco-friendly products, especially around children’s spaces and belongings
• Handle daily pet care, including walks, feeding, and companionship
• Run household errands as needed, such as grocery shopping or school pick-ups
• Manage laundry with care, including ironing and steaming when needed
• Keep closets and wardrobes, particularly the children’s, neat and organized
• Prepare simple, healthy family meals as requested
• Maintain discretion and respect for the family’s privacy
• Be responsive, intuitive, and flexible to the household’s evolving needs
• Occasionally assist with childcare when requested
