Description
A fully staffed estate sought two full-time, long-term housekeepers for an immediate start. Housekeepers must be able to legally work in the US, speak English and have a minimum of 5 years of professional housekeeping experience. Ideal candidates will have housekeeping experience in private high-end homes and/or hotels. Most importantly, the housekeepers will need to work as team players and get along well with the other household staff.
The housekeeper's schedule is M-F 7:30am-3:30pm with occasional weekends and both will be rotating working weekends.
Duties include but are not limited to the following:
- All major housekeeping duties
- Working with another housekeeper
- Laundress duties (care of fine linens etc.)
- Cleaning fine art
- Silver upkeep (polishing, cleaning, storing etc.)
- Re-stocking cleaning supplies
- Inventory checklist of supplies
- Organizing
It's important that the housekeepers have a strong work ethic and can work both independently and as a team. Communication skills are very important if English is not the housekeeper's first language. Both housekeepers must be in great shape, able to lift 50 pounds, and climb ladders to clean high places. The positions are very physically demanding so we are looking for energetic, young, healthy candidates who will be able to work for the principals for many years.
