Description
Deb’s Domestic Agency is assisting a busy family of five with two small dogs in their search for a long-term, part-time Executive Housekeeper (EH). This position offers a salaried schedule of up to 30 hours per week during the school year, with the summer months largely off. Flexibility is appreciated, as the EH may occasionally be asked to assist on weekends or adjust hours earlier or later with advance notice if it works with her schedule.
The ideal candidate is warm, reliable, and enjoys working around children and pets. She should genuinely love cooking, be honest and kind, and bring a minimum of 3+ years of professional housekeeping experience in private homes. A strong work ethic, long-term commitment with previous families, positive attitude, and excellent communication skills are essential. Spanish-speaking candidates are preferred, though it is not required.
Other duties include, but are not limited to the following:
- All major housekeeping in 5000 sq. ft. main home
- All major housekeeping in 4500 sq. ft. lake home
- Running errands or grocery shopping as needed
- Laundry & ironing
- Managing cleaning supplies (restocking, purchasing etc.)
- Deep cleaning
- Pet care
- Driving
- Cooking
One of the most important qualities in the EH is that they have a great attitude with a strong work ethic. The EH should be able to work alone or around the family. Other qualities include great communication, organization and people skills. The EH is responsible for creating a clean and organized household while giving the family as much privacy as possible.
