Minnesota based family is in need of a long-term, FT Executive Housekeeper (EH) to start ASAP. This is a national search so temporary off-site housing can be provided by our clients for 1-3 months for those who are not local.
We are looking for EH's with a minimum of 5+-years of professional experience with excellent references. The EH's schedule will be M-F 9am-5pm with the flexibility to stay later or help over the weekends as needed. The family will always give plenty of notice but the EH should also be prepared to be on call at times if the family is experiencing a last minute change of plans due to unforeseen circumstances.
Since this is a live-out position, the EH will want to relocate to Litchfield, which is 60 miles West of Minneapolis. The family is about 5-7 miles from Litchfield and the city has about 7,000 people surrounded by agriculture. It is a thriving and sweet community with many churches, a great school and a kindhearted small town community atmosphere. The cost of living and housing is also very affordable. This position is best suited for those who love small towns and who want to make this their home for many years. We are looking for EH's who plan to stay in this location for the unforeseeable future and make this her long-term home.
This is a family of five who live in a 10k sq. ft. home with an indoor pool on 10 acres with 190 acres of surrounding farmland and a small private access lake.

General duties and skills needed:
- All housekeeping duties
- Scheduling/managing seasonal deep cleaning, appliance upkeep, household manuals etc.
- Driving in snow (grocery shopping trips to Minneapolis and driving and picking up family)
- Technology literate (The family uses Apple products and need their staff to have at least an iPhone for use communicating with them. The EH should be somewhat savvy with digital communication experience for quick, communicative responses. Our clients cannot teach someone how to use tech and need the EH to be comfortable with these basic tech skills and the ability to learn quickly) DDA can provide training for this if necessary.
- Occasional cleaning of vehicles and two small plane interiors with help from other staff
- Basic cooking and food prep
- Keeping up with the family's on-going travel schedule
- Meal prep
- Laundress duties
Ideal candidates are those with long-term tenure in a current similar or previous position as an EH, or those with 10+ years as a housekeeper who are looking to move up to being an EH with on-site training.
