A lovely family in the River Oaks area of Houston is seeking a highly skilled and detail-driven Executive Housekeeper to oversee the daily care and upkeep of their beautifully maintained 12,000 sq. ft. residence. This full-time, live-out position requires a polished professional with a strong background in luxury home care, excellent organizational skills, and the highest level of discretion.
In addition to maintaining the home to five-star standards, the role involves caring for two cherished dogs, working closely with the family’s personal assistant, and assisting with packing, travel prep, and general household coordination. The ideal candidate will also assist with light meal preparation and basic menu planning that supports a gluten-free, high-protein, whole-food lifestyle, bringing a thoughtful and health-conscious approach to the kitchen.

Key Responsibilities:
- Maintain high standards of cleanliness for a large estate with fine furnishings, high-end materials, and luxury finishes
- Use non-toxic and eco-friendly products whenever possible
- Careful cleaning and maintenance of surfaces including stone, marble, quartz, ceramic, and stainless steel
- Daily pet care: walk, feed, and provide loving attention to two dogs
- Launder fine bed, bath, and table linens; ironing and steaming as needed
- Maintain wardrobe and closet organization
- Assist with guest arrival preparations and special occasion setup
- Coordinate daily laundry, dry cleaning, steaming, folding, and organization
- Support household inventory and property management in partnership with the Personal Assistant
- Prepare and assist with family travel, including packing and unpacking
- Work independently with strong initiative and minimal supervision
- Maintain a high level of discretion and respect for the family’s privacy
- Flexible, intuitive, and responsive to changing routines and needs
Ideal Candidate Profile:
The right candidate will be service-oriented, proactive, and eager to exceed expectations. A background in private service or luxury hotels/yachting is a plus, along with a natural attention to detail and genuine pride in one’s work.
