At the Deborah Calkin Agency we have qualified tutors who can teach in every subject for any grade, including college material. Our tutors are highly educated and have experience in tutoring or teaching and will come to your home for each lesson. We can find you or your children the right person who is very patient to help you learn whatever it is you need some encouragement and help in.
Tutors with Bachelor degrees and higher usually make a minimum of $25+ per hour. For those who have an associate’s, GED, or are still in school usually make a minimum of $15+ per hour.
Typical Hours
Most tutors teach a minimum of 1-2 hours for each lesson, depending upon the person who needs the help. If a tutor is only needed for 30 minutes they still make the same as if they were there for 1 hour, or a minimum of $20 which ever is greater.
