Average Salary
Our personal assistants make between $12-$25 per hour based upon experience, specific requirements, degrees, and other factors.
Typical Hours
The typical Live Out hours are about 20-40 hours a week. Whereas a Live In personal assistant usually works longer hours, has more flexibility, and is provided with separate living quarters and a salary.
Live in Exchanges
In some cases an employer may hire a Live In personal assistant to work up to 15 hours a week as an exchange. This can be good for a personal assistant who is typically in college and from out of state/country. The employer also greatly benefits in the same way if they only need someone part time, and if they have separate living quarters, such as a guest apartment, for the assistant. Anything above 15 hours a week requires a salary for the assistant.
